HTMLTextBlock swallowing <span/>

Hi Matthijs, great library!

I am planning on using the HTMLTextBlock in a WP7 app. Have you noticed this behaviour though? If there is a span element in the html it seems to be omitted from the output.

First, sorry for not answering your question, e-mail notifications were turned off for me, so I've missed your thread, sorry.

Regarding your question;

hmmm,.. That should not happen,..

Can you provide me with a HTML snippet where the SPAN gets swallowed?

I'll fix as soon as I can!

Below is a sample where the span gets omitted.

This is awesome, may be a simple, free and low maintenance way of hosting a pivotengine.com website.<br><br>cc: <span class='yammer-object' data-yammer-object='user:3009441' data-resource-id='3009441' data-resource-model='user'>@<a href='https://www.yammer.com/pivotengine.com/users/alex'>Alexander Preston</a></span>

The only way that I can get it to render is to remove the span element.

Also the a tag seems to force itself onto a newline always, is that the intended behavior?

One more question regarding the <table> element. They seem to get omitted too - is that a design choice on your part because they would be difficult to render them correctly in XAML?

Hi alex, I will look into the issue of the span swallowing, that's not supposed to happen.

The linebreak is by design, as is the lacking support for tables.

I'm considering tables for the next release.
